Welcome, travelers, to my collection of stories and tales from Middle-earth. I am Ciendriel, elf of a long lost woodland realm, she of the vivid imagination and spinner of dreams. Take off your cloak, put up your feet, and relax. This is a place of wicked enchantment, and all stories will be labeled so you know into which part of the wood you are wandering. Please, enjoy them, and then tell me what you think. Truly do I value your comments.

A few notes of import...
I am often asked about the source of my name, Ciendriel. The short answer is that I made it up for the fic "Hobbit Trollop" (link below) and decided that I liked it enough to adopt as my own Elvish moniker. That fic was written while I was still in the process of learning about Tolkien and his world and languages, something I am still doing.
Although there is no "soft c" sound in the Sindarin tongue, the pronunciation is meant to be "See-EN-dree-el." The character was meant to be from a lost village so I maintain that her people had a slightly different Elvish dialect. There was never any direct translation for the name.
Recently a little bird (a Nightingale, to be exact) told me this: "Cien" in Spanish means one-hundred, the number 100. In the High-elven speech -riel means 'garlanded maiden'. So, to me Ciendriel means 'maiden garlanded with a hundred tales'. I truly loved this definition, so I shall let that be the official one, even if Spanish is not strictly a Middle-earth tongue.
Use of the word 'Galadhrim'
The word Galadhrim ("tree-people") refers in general to all of the elves of Lórien. It is a plural word, and includes more than just the warriors of the Golden Wood. In my stories, I have generally used it as both singular (shortened to mean "of the Galadhrim") and plural, the plural referring only to the elves under Haldir's command. Please forgive this liberal interpretation -- I'm still learning, and I'm not entirely certain this usage is incorrect. The meaning should be clear in the stories from the context.
